Op7ix Rule Book as of August 18, 2010

Rule 1: These forums will not contain Illegal or ripped material, no pornography.
Rule 2: No account hacking/stealing
Rule 3: No caps lock.
Rule 4: No walls of text/spam
Rule 5: No double posting or triple posting.
Rule 6: No Warez.
Rule 7: No Same-Topic Threads.
Rule 8: Any post and or link leading to a virus, trojan etc. posted will be perma. banned from these forums.
Rule 9: Any spamming in the chat and or immature acts can get you banned instantly from the chat.
Rule 10: No advertising what so ever is allowed out side of the advertising section.
Rule 11: Attacking staff or insulting staff

Rules can be updated at any time. Rules that you don't see here doesn't necessarily mean it is allowed. If I feel like you as a user abused or are doing something wrong I have the right to ban you.

Infraction of Rule 1: Permaban with evedence "Screenshot of the post"
Infraction of Rule 2: Permaban with evedence "Screenshot of the post"
Infraction of Rule 3: 1 day ban if continued after a warning
Infraction of Rule 4: 3 day ban if continued after a warning
Infraction of Rule 5: 2 day ban if continued after a warning
Infraction of Rule 6: 5 day ban if continued after a warning
Infraction of Rule 7: Warning and merge of duplicate posts
Infraction of Rule 8: 3 day ban if continued after a warning, delete post
Infraction of Rule 9:
First time: 1 day ban Second time: 5 day ban If continued: 10 ban

Infraction of Rule 10: Deletion of post or revomale of content and a 1 day ban after warning

Infraction of Rule 11:
First time: 2 day ban with proof Second time: 10 day ban with proof Third and more: 15 day ban




Members of the staff must post seficient evedence of the violation that had occured. The only evedence now that will be accdepted is a screen shot of your computer screen. To take a screenshot hit the Print Screen and then open paint and hit edit and paste. Simple copy and paste of loggs like the one below will NOT be accepted!!!!!!!

See where there's no (session timeout)? That's what happens when someone hits Log Out/Log In a lot in an act to annoy someone.

Sorry about the screenshot, by the way. I know the bottom's cut out, and it doesn't look zoomed in. I can't exactly take a close-up without having to cut out everything around the chatbox.

And I have a question Red... How will the kicking system work?

Kicking system will be added hopefully tommarrow. And the logout log in will count as a first time infraction of rule 9. please post it in the banning section.

No caps, to better explain, means no one abusing the caps lock button to where they post every word in capitals, all the time. It gets annoying.

Ah, so, I did some poking around.. I found out that the only things Screenshots will work for is the chat box. The forums, are a different story. You can take a screenshot; but you do not know if it was personally edited by the person, or another moderator. So, I think it's safe to say that the only way to have "proof" of something forum-wise is to immediately lock any flaming topic upon noticing it, or locking any topic that has flame posts after these rules were put up, and leaving it to the founder of the site to look through.

You cannot edit others posts when the topics are locked, as I have found out before the restore, but you can edit your own, if you're a moderator. At least, that's what I saw.

hmmm shouldn't threatening the site be in rules for example i saw "i could easily wipe this site out" there should be some kind of rule about it..
