Yes but custom can brick your psp. Also it is best to only hack up 2000s and lower.

you can brick your psp but then as simple as you bricked it(rarely) you can unbrick it

You can hack any psp except for the GO atm but there is a new version of ChickHEN comming out designed for the GO is you have 6.20 ofw on it. I don't know the release date but it is said that PRXs will be supported in the new ChickHEN "A homebrew enabler/cfw" As of now you can only play homebrew with Chickhen which can lead to installing full cfw if your hardware supports it. 2000 usually can support it except a certian motherboard make and 1000s can but 3000 can only have ChickHEN not full cfw.
